School Farm Ribbon Cutting Announcement & Invitation

Dear ACUSD & ACOE students, staff, families, and community members, 

You are invited to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Amador County Unified School District Farm - a hands-on learning space for students to grow food, skills, and connections to agriculture and the land! The purpose of this farm is to grow fruits and vegetables that can be served in school cafeteria salad bars. This farm is also a great opportunity for students to learn more about agriculture, environmental science, and nutrition, with future opportunities for field trips and externships. 

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony:
Date: Tuesday, February 24
Time: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Location: C&C Ranch at Motherlode Land Trust - 1334 Jackson Gate Rd. Jackson, CA 95642

What to expect:

• Official ribbon cutting
• Remarks from district staff and community leaders
• Programmatic plans for 2026-2027
• Farm tour and refreshments
