Work Permits

How to request a Work Permit

  1. Get hired!
  2. Pick up a Work Permit Application from the Amador High School Registrar’s Office or printed from this button:
  3. Once you complete the WORK PERMIT APPLICATION, you can scan that and email it to Erica Anderson, the Registrar: erica.anderson@acusd.org or hand deliver it to Erica at Amador High School.
  4. Upon receipt of your application, an official Work Permit will be printed and signed by your Guidance Counselor for you to provide to your employer.
  5. Students granted work permits must demonstrate and maintain a 2.0 grade point average and satisfactory school attendance. 

SUMMER WORK PERMITS: 

  • Can be processed by Amador (email clean scan of application to Erica Anderson, erica.anderson@acusd.org) until 6/7/24. The signed work permit will be emailed to the student so they can provide it to their employer.
  • After 6/7/24, email clean scan of application to District Office (Malinda Hemig, erica.anderson@acusd.org)
