Work Permits

How to request a Work Permit

  1. Get hired!
  2. Pick up a Work Permit Application from the Amador High School Registrar’s Office or print from this button:

WORK PERMIT APPLICATION

  1. Once you complete the work permit application, scan and email it to Jaiana Uyeda, the Registrar, at jaiana.uyeda@acusd.org or hand deliver it to Jaiana at Amador High School.
  2. Upon receipt of your application, an official Work Permit will be printed and signed by your Guidance Counselor for you to provide to your employer.
  3. Students granted work permits must demonstrate and maintain a 2.0 grade point average and satisfactory school attendance. 

SUMMER WORK PERMITS: 

  • Up until 6/7/2024: Applications can be processed by Amador (email a clean scan of the application to Jaiana Uyeda at jaiana.uyeda@acusd.org). The signed work permit will be emailed to the student so they can provide it to their employer.
  • After 6/7/24: Email a clean scan of the application to the District Office (Malinda Hemig, mhemig1@acusd.org)
