Students, are you creative or interested in business? Come to the LIBRARY on FRIDAY, MARCH 6 at 8:30am to meet a College Representative from FIDM – Fashion Institute of Design and Management. FIDM educates students for careers in the fashion, interior design, digital arts, business, marketing, and entertainment industries. See Mrs. Reynolds in the Career Center for more information.

Lifeguard training class 2020: March 28th & 29th April 4th and 5th from 9 am to 5 pm each day. All classes must be attended register by calling Michelle 209-642-2539. All classes at the Jackson City Pool.

The senior class picture for the yearbook will be taken this Friday during 4th period! That is this Friday March 6th. Every senior needs to report to the gym following the announcement the last 15 minutes of the class! Please don’t miss it.

Graduating Seniors! You’re invited to the 2020 Construction Job Fair coming to Citrus Heights in April. Companies representing trades like carpentry, framing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and others are coming together to offer graduating seniors job opportunities. If you have not turned in your course selection sheet for next year please do so ASAP. Course selection sheets can be turned into the office.

The quarter is almost over and report cards will go home after spring break. This quarter affects academic eligibility and work permit approvals. Stay focused and keep those grades up! If you need assistance creating an Aeries account so you can closely watch your grades come see Megan in the office, she is happy to walk you through it.

Looking for part time, flexible work? The US Census is hiring, but the deadline for applications is the beginning of April! If you’re 18 or older, you can earn $18 dollars an hour, plus $. 53 cents per mile for 20 flexible hours a week. See Mrs. Reynolds in the Career Center for more information.

The US Census Bureau is hiring and asked me to let staff know that although you need to apply by April 1st for a 20 hour-ish a week position, it doesn’t start until the summer. If you want information, I have folders in my office. It pays $18 dollars an hour plus $.53 per mile. Set your own hours. They are particularly looking for anyone out in Fiddletown.
